What's Going Down at The Brits This Year? The Who, What, Where and When

The Brit Awards is back for the eighth year running at The O2 in London and we couldn’t be more excited! This is the one award show which we feel like we should all try to watch and celebrate all the talent Britain has to offer to the music industry. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to watch all of our fave celebs have a few too many drinks.

The Brits always has a great host which will make the most of awkward moments, and this year it is none other than Jack Whitehall. Jack has already hosted his own chat show, has a stand up special on Netflix, had a comedy series on TV and even a feature length film, so tonight should be a breeze for him. But, in an interview with BBC News, something suggests that Jack might be a little bit nervous for the evening, "It's live, anything can happen - and historically, anything has happened - so it's a nerve-wracking thing to be doing, but it's the biggest night in music and it's a good level of scared and excitement."

Is it bad that we kind of hope something goes wrong?

Every year the Brits has an outstanding array of performances between the award announcements, and this year isn’t any different. We can look forward to the likes of Sam Smith, Stormzy, Justin Timberlake and good ol’ Ed, and of course the goddess that is Dua Lipa, who deserves a special mention because LOTD love Dua. Dua has even broken the record this year for the most female Brit nominations! She’s up for five in total, and if we had it our way she would probably win every single one.

So, we know what you’re thinking, but when?! WHERE?! The Brits awards show starts at 8pm on ITV, so make sure you have all the snacks ready and your phone is by your side ready to keep up with all of LOTD’s social channels because we’ll be posting throughout the entire show. If, like us, three hours of the Brits isn’t enough, you can also watch the red carpet show on ITV2 at 7pm. Hopefully you’re as excited as we are, our fingers are crossed for another embarrassing celeb moment!
